Getting started is as simple as reaching out. Let’s talk about how we can make your dog’s days absolutely amazing.
Once you complete our consultation process and your pup passes their trial day, they can typically start regular playdates within a week. We like to take our time with introductions to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe.
Every new pup gets a personalized consultation where we learn about their personality, play style, and any special needs. Then we schedule a trial playdate to see how they interact with our existing pack. It's all about making sure it's a perfect match.
We operate Monday through Friday, with pickup typically happening between 8-10:30 AM and drop-off between 1:30-3:30 PM.
No problem at all! We can work out a system that works for you – whether that's leaving your pup in a secure area, coordinating with neighbors, or adjusting our timing. We're all about flexibility.
Absolutely. We can manage special diets, medications, and any specific feeding schedules your pup needs. Just let us know the details during your consultation.
We keep our groups intentionally social – usually 12-18 dogs – so every pup gets attention and we can maintain that family atmosphere where everyone knows each other.
Currently we focus on weekday playdates, but we're always open to discussing special arrangements for our families. Just reach out and let's talk about what you need.
While we're not formal trainers, we do reinforce good behavior and help shy dogs build confidence through positive social interactions. It's more about creating good experiences than structured training.
Safety is our top priority. Dogs showing aggressive behavior aren't a good fit for our group setting. During our consultation and trial day, we carefully assess each dog's temperament to ensure everyone can play safely together.
We love helping nervous pups come out of their shells! Our patient, gentle approach has helped many shy dogs discover the joy of friendship. We take introductions slowly and let them build confidence at their own pace.
High-energy pups are our specialty! Our spacious play areas and active group sessions are perfect for dogs who need to run, chase, and burn off all that enthusiasm. They'll come home happily tired.
We coordinate pickup times during your consultation to fit your schedule. Most families prefer morning pickup between 7:30-9:30 AM, but we're flexible.
Our trained team members handle all pickups and drop-offs using our climate-controlled vehicles. You'll always know who's coming and when.
We send notification messages so you're always in the loop. Plus, you'll get those fun photo updates throughout the day so you can see your pup having a blast.
All our vehicles are climate-controlled with secure, comfortable spaces for each dog. Our team is trained in safe transportation practices, and we never leave dogs unattended in vehicles.
Paws Dog Camp began as Trina's childhood dream of working with dogs. Growing up in a dog-loving household, she started with pet sitting and dog outings, building the business organically through genuine care and personal connections with clients and their furry family members.
We're proudly based in San Mateo, serving the Bay Area community. Our central location makes it convenient for families throughout the region.
Absolutely. We carry comprehensive liability insurance to protect both our four-legged clients and their families. Your peace of mind is just as important as your pup's happiness.
Our team members are carefully selected dog lovers who share our passion for exceptional care. Each team member is trained in our safety protocols and approaches, ensuring your pup gets consistent, loving attention from everyone they meet.
We offer a minimum 2x per week subscription to our playdates. This ensures your dog maintains consistent friendships and routine. You're welcome to add more days as needed.
Life happens, and we get that. We work with families to accommodate schedule changes, vacations, or other needs. Just give us a heads up and we'll figure out what works best.
Every dog gets a trial playdate as part of our introduction process. This helps both you and us determine if Paws Dog Camp is the right fit before committing to regular playdates.
Ready to get started? Reach out through our contact form above or give us a call. We'll schedule your consultation and take it from there. The hardest part is making that first call – everything else is just fun!
